Jamie Howell brings many years of Real Estate experience Hill & Co. Jamie began his career at Hartford Realty before moving to BJ Droubi & Company. He then spent a year a half with Fog Horn Realty where he was sales manager, and most recently he spent a year with Paragon. Jamie’s success comes from giving his fullest attention to every client. His dependability has resulted in almost 100 percent of his clients coming from referrals!
Born in upstate New York, Jamie was raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil and in Lubbock, Texas. Lured to San Francisco during the Summer of Love, Jamie arrived with a rock band in 1966. Music was his life as he played in various bands as a lead guitarist for Jimmie Witherspoon, Dry Creek Road and the Jimmie Dale Gilmore Trio. He produced records for other bands, including those signed to the Jefferson Airplane / Jefferson Starship recording label, Grunt, and Terry Allen (a well known Texas singer-songwriter-artist). He later went on tour as the road manager for Hot Tuna and Natalie Cole.
In addition to raising his four children in Noe Valley, Jamie has coached girls’ soccer teams and has been nominated twice for California State Soccer Coach of the Year. He has been honored as top coach for all sports by the Police Activities League (PAL) and was twice awarded Girls Soccer Coach of the Year for the entire Bay Area. Jamie is also former two time Chairman of the Board of San Francisco Zen Center, Green Gulch Farm, and Tassajara Monastery.
Jamie has been a student of Buddhism for over 20 years. His additional non-profit activities include volunteer work at the SF General Hospital ER and at Maitri Aids Hospice. He also trains for triathlons with the Golden Gate Triathlon Team and the Leukemia Society’s Team in Training.

Mat Howell is filled with never ending energy and enthusiasm. Born and raised in San Francisco, Mat knows the city inside and out. His extensive education includes attendance at Rooftop, Live Oak, the San Francisco School and Washington High School. Before earning his Real Estate license, he studied film making at San Francisco City College, and his underground movies have played in both theaters and on the Internet. He joined his father, Jamie Howell, in Real Estate nine years ago and both have benefited from the partnership. When he’s not finding someone their perfect home or ideal investment, Mat is often snowboarding in the Sierra or sharing his extensive music and video collections with friends.
